Dimapur, March 9: The DAN Government and the Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio have welcomed the passing of the Women's Reservation Bill in the Rajya Sabha this evening.

The Chief Minister observed that it is a historic decision that would not only pave the way for empowerment of women but also contribute towards the overall progress of the country.

The Chief Minister also congratulated the passing of the bill and appreciated the broad consensus that ensured the passing of the bill in the upper House of Parliament. (Page News Service)
